Day 1 These are from my 100 Project from 2017. I was going to share the project from 2016 but I need to retake those photos because the quality isn't that great. Day 2 My first 100 Project was done in 2015 but I didn't label that collection. I'll probably share those soon. Day 3 I'm actually thinking of recreating those first two projects just to see what kind of progress I've made drawing-wise. This project was called 100MiniMandalas
source Last week the start date for the 100 day project was announced. It starts on February 18th. I'd planned on going back to my original project and re-doing it to see what progress I've made since then. Until I saw a little video from artist Mel Rye on Pinterest. This is the link: https://pin.it/6KFkwhQYX She even has a course if you'd like to learn her technique. It's called Mindful Drawing and Intuitive Collage for Self-Care . The photo above is another example of what I saw. I was inspired! I grabbed some patterned paper I had lying around and some old magazines. Lots of shapes have been cut out in preparation for the project I've decided on. I can't wait to start!
I've been blogging for a while now but my original blog was a modge podge of various topics before I settled on book blogging. But I've decided that it is time to start a separate blog for my art. Especially with the 100 Day Project coming up. I share on Instagram but I'd like to have another space to share. That's ↑ a digital collage I created a few years ago. I hope you'll join me. Do you have any art blog recommendations?
It's amazing all the different places inspiration can be found!
